Wild Things: Pesto from the forest

Took a walk on the wild side in Shrawley Woods and and picked  some wild garlic. We only took leaves and stems, leaving the roots.

Sorting out the leaves from the flowers back at Rose Cottage.

Washing and spin-drying the leaves. Saving the flowers to bloom.

Ingredients - I  used cheddar and pine nuts but any hard cheese and nuts'll do.

All blended together in batches and potted for freezing. I've now got some new flexi-ice cube trays to use for this
